How much would one of these replacements cost? And would it be the same way for the 2005 version?
@earthtoapple I use a small Phillips head screw driver in this video. You should try and match the size of your screw driver to the screw as closely as possible to prevent damage to the screws.
Hey I was wondering what screw driver do you use when you’re trying to get the first two screws out? It’s the first step, and I’m already having trouble, lol.

@chispification I’m sorry I do not have record of that. You would want to order your replacement using the model number on the back of the screen.

@SuperLizard32 Depending on your exact screen part number. This screen is very inexpensive in comparison to other screens. Are you sure you need a new screen? I do a free estimate at my shop if you would like me to take a look at it.

@TheSocialVagabond It is hard to comment on compatibility but I would recommend using the part number on the back of the screen to order so you know for sure that you are getting the correct screen.
Just a quick question, would a 531h model screen be compatible with my D255? I know where I can get a 531h model super cheap, but I dunno if it’d fit. The dimensions are the same, and they’re both LCD and Acer models. Any help is appreciated.
